A real opportunity to do business
Being part of the HE estates forum gives you unprecedented access to a host of key decision-makers involved in the design, build and management of higher education estates and facilities. Over one and half days you’ll benefit from a tailored schedule of one-to-one meetings with your chosen university and college estates professionals, architects, contractors, project managers, FF&E consultants and student accommodation developers.
As well as the structured business meetings, the Forum hosts three seminars, which are open for all to attend. The theme of this year’s seminars is: The challenges HE faces delivering future estates and facilities.
Topics we will be looking at include How UK universities are demonstrating improved sustainability; Research and science laboratory development; Student accommodation; and how can building design impact on student mental health across campus.
The importance of physical activity and wellbeing is now a key consideration for the HE build industry. Therefore, we have included a dedicated seminar programme delivering successful and sustainable physical activity for students, staff and the wider community. Topics to be addressed include the Role of sport and physical activity in mental health, how to engage students and staff in physical activity and activity design in HE active campuses.
Each presentation will be packed with insightful case studies that offer practical and hard-won wisdom from leading professionals. With a drinks reception and a gala dinner, there’s no shortage of opportunities to network with key industry figures.
